WYBE J. VAN DER MEER Services Tuesday KERRVILLE — Graveside services for Wybe Jelles Van der Meer II, 66, of Kerrville, who died Saturday in a Kerrville hospital, will be Tuesday at IO a.m. at Glen Rest Cemetery with the Rev. J.R. Dye officiating. Born Feb. 12, 1928 in Rockford, 111., Mr. Van der Meer had been a resident of Kerrville for ll years, formerly residing in Durango, Colo. He was a retired architect and structural engineer. He was a member of the Catholic church and had served in the U.S. Air Force as a 1st Lieutenant during the Korean war. He married Madge Easton Erving on April 14, 1952 at Bolling AFB near Washington, D.C. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Karen E. and Chris Norman of Fort Collins, Colo.; a son and daughter-in-law. Jay and Valerie Van der Meer of Bliss Spring, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Ronald Raymond of Rhienlander, Wis.; four grandchildren, a nephew and a niece. Memorials may be made to the Nature Conservancy.
